Glossy Rice

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups of Jasmine or Basmati Rice 

  • 1-2 tbsp coconut oil 

  • Good pinch of salt 

 

Preparation

  1. Wash rice two to three times, or until water becomes clear, then drain. 

  2. Place washed rice and coconut oil into rice cooker. 

  3. Add water until the level is approximately 1cm above the rice (check out my video for my trusty first-knuckle trick!) 

  4. Add a nice pinch of salt. 

  5. Turn on rice cooker and leave until cooked.
